The objective of the Headphone Shootout event is to award the best headphones in each of the attributes of audio quality. The Headphone Shootout event will only use the top headphones in each price category from premium manufacturers like Technics that are currently available in the U.S. A panel of professional audio engineers, audiophile/headphone experts, audio equipment reviewers, and musicians have been assembled to judge, and vote on all audio quality attributes. The comfort and ease of use will also be reviewed to determine which headphone in each category will be awarded this year’s “King of Headphones” in their respective categories.
